The Times Health Club July Challenge: Get on your bike

Get On Your Bike

Getting fit is a lot more fun when you do it with friends, and that's why we're setting our members a new challenge: we want you to get on your bike this month. You've already proved you're cycling enthusiasts by completing the distance of the Tour de France together in just one week - a huge 3,500km. Congratulations - it's a great achievement!

However, we don't want you to rest on your laurels. We want you to work even harder, so now we're challenging you to get back on your bike, exactly where you left it in Paris, and cycle the distance from there to Cape Town. It's another 9,263 km, but we feel confident that you can achieve this together by the end of July.

Whether you're a daily commuter or an occasional pootler, you can contribute to the challenge. You can even take part on your exercise bike if you're not confident enough to cycle on the road.
